Workshop & End of Year Celebration
A relaxed day for women in business to step away from the day-to-day, learn something useful, meet other women, and celebrate the year together.
Friday 13 November 2026 · 11am – 5pm
The Pavilion, The Lost Spring, Whitianga · Limited to 30 spots

This day started with a simple idea: let's create the kind of day we'd actually want to go to ourselves.

YOUR SPEAKERS
SESSION 1
Social media for small businesses
Chloe Watts, Clickly
-
Chloe runs Clickly with her husband in Matarangi (and online), helping small businesses take the overwhelm out of social media. Her belief is simple: you don’t need more posts, you need a plan that fits how you actually run your business.
Chloe isn’t a traditional marketer. She’s built, marketed and grown her own businesses while juggling the same time and energy limits as everyone else, so she knows why consistency is hard and why “just post more” doesn’t help. Whether clients want it done for them, a mentor alongside them, or to learn it themselves, Chloe focuses on strategies and systems that are easy to follow through on.
SESSION 2
Money mindset
Lorna Fussey, FBC Chartered Accountant
-
Lorna runs FBC Limited, a boutique accounting practice in Whitianga that looks after businesses, trusts and charities. She’s known for straight talking and fewer acronyms, helping clients understand their numbers rather than dread them.
As a business owner herself, she’s lived the cashflow pinch points and endless decisions first-hand. It’s made her a big believer in clear goals, smart priorities and saying no to what doesn’t serve you.
Lorna lives in the Coromandel with her partner Klaas and their two children, who remain reliably unimpressed by spreadsheets.
SESSION 3
Goal setting & strategic planning
Chelsie Geldard, Mettley
-
Chelsie is the founder of Mettley, a Whitianga-based (and online) business offering bookkeeping, marketing and business strategy to small service-based businesses across the Coromandel and Waikato.
She helps business owners get clear on their numbers, their message and where they’re heading next.
Her previous business was named Micro Business of the Year in 2022, and she has since helped other Mercury Bay businesses succeed through the awards entry process.
She’s a firm believer that small businesses do better with a clear plan, the right systems and a few people in their corner.
